Who am I?

That’s a really good question; the one thing I know for sure is that as soon as I think I learn a little about the woman I am or the woman I hope to become, I discover that there is so much more that I don’t know

About the world,

About my friends

About my family

About my boys

About myself.

So Really, Who Am I?

I am an abuse survivor, a black cloud blower-outter, an abandoned housewife, a wrongly divorced woman, a struggler, a crier, a worker, a pray-er.

I am a tax-payer, a flag saluter, a freedom lover, a military appreciator, an entrepreneur, a citizen, an informed voter.

I am a student and a teacher, a do-gooder, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a friend.

I am a booboo kisser, a messy-car driver, a bad song singer, a chef, a baker and (too often) a dinner burner. I am a too infrequent laundry folder, a too frequent key loser and a whoo-see-whats-it finder.

I am a Mom.

I am a bad dancer - no, I am a really bad dancer.

And dancing is the least of the things I do badly.

I have lots of room for improvement and many places I continue to fall even after claiming to be Christian. I struggle to judge less, love better and more, overcome shame, move head in courage, and do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I am imperfect. I am a sinner. I am human.

I am capable and deserving of giving and receiving love.

I am capable and deserving of hard work, good things, the heady rush of passion, and the simple bliss of peaceful moments.

I am a Child of God.

And through Him, I can do all things.

Only God knows the plans He has for me

And that is okay with me.

I am and will always be...
