Finding True Friendship – Lessons from C.S. Lewis

True friendship. What does that mean to you?

C.S. Lewis  said something about true friendship which I recently heard quoted in a Rick Santorum speech. He said, “A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.”

While many of us long for someone to share the song in our hearts with, it is important to know what kind of qualities make someone worthy of your friendship. Try listing things you would look for in a potential partner.

I will return to and complete this post this weekend. Right now I am exhausted after a very long and trying week – see Friday’s 1/20/12 post for more details. thank you for bearing with me. and as always,

God Bless…
