Who is The Living God? Jesus Christ!

A rainbow signifies the Living God
More evidence that our God is the only Living God.

The Living God is Jesus Christ

A friend sent the following message to me in an email:

  • Jesus died over 2,000 years ago.
  • Nobody has ever referred to him as the late Jesus, not even those who do not believe!
  • Nowhere in history has he been referred to in the past tense! He is the Living God!

Have you ever thought about it that way?

Referring to God, in either the form of the Father or the son Jesus Christ, as the “living God” occurs more than 25 times in the Bible. Jesus is alive and well and can perform miracles in your heart, mind, soul, and life if you let go and trust in him and love him completely.

Check this out from The Book of Matthew

In Matthew Chapter 16, the disciples were asked, “Who do you say that the Son of Man is?” (Matt 16:13). The disciples gave answers belonging to other people rather than ones they had thought through and prayed over. That was not what Jesus Christ wanted. He wanted the disciples to think on their own and to have faith in Gd to provide the answers. Simon Peter gave the reply, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. ” (Matt 16: 16) And Jesus responded, “Blessed are you Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood have not revealed this to you but my Heavenly Father.”

Jesus is the Living God! He is ALIVE!!! Rejoice in that fact and invite him into your life today.

Bible Verse of the Day:

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter said in reply, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. ” (Matt 16: 15-16)
